Those Ridiculous Declarations of Emergency the Government Keeps Passing, with a Note on Empire and Conspiracy Theory

All of these fascist states of emergency are flat out wrong. We just renewed a state of emergency about Iraq that states that Iraq is a uniquely dangerous state to US national security! It wasn’t even true 20 years ago, so it can’t be true now.

Not one Congresscritter, not even Sanders or the members of the Squad, ever issues the tiniest squeak of protest about this idiocy.

These states of emergency are essentially imperial documents based on US imperialism.

These documents are part of the concrete that holds the empire together. Notice even the most far Left members of Congress never utter a word about imperialism or the empire? That’s not an accident.
