The Palestinian Nationalist Project Should Be Opposed

I’m interested in most people’s take on this as it would seem to go against the general thrust of what I have been writing here for a while.

Most people do not understand what the project of Palestinian nationalism is. I do. Unfortunately, I’ve spent enough time around these people to know. I think this might be a reason nations support Israel - they don’t want to see Israel overrun by an Arab army.

Remember that 2 state solution that the whole world is rallying behind? Well, guess what? Every street level Palestinian you meet is opposed to that. No exceptions. Not only that but if you propose it, they call you “Zionist.”

Well formally speaking it is a Zionist project. The definition of Zionist just means someone who supports a Jewish state in Palestine, and the 2 state solution allows that. Israel’s already ruined it anyway with all those settlements, but the world still holds out hope for this.
