Putin is not a dictator. Russians don’t think he’s a dictator. They think a dictator is like Stalin. He’s extremely popular and his people love him. He regularly scores approval ratings over 80%.

Elections are free and there is no fraud. Election results line up very well with popularity ratings, and pre-election and exit polls. In the last election he got 70%. How many dictators get 70% of the vote? None.
