My Latest Publication in a Peer Reviewed Academic Journal
My latest academic publication in a peer reviewed academic journal. It was published in the journal of long-range linguistics, Mother Tongue. It was 99 pages with 525 references. I’m a linguist in my other life when I’m not doing journalism.
I’ve gotten almost zero feedback about this, oddly enough. I have a Master’s Degree in Linguistics. You don’t have to be an academic to publish in peer-reviewed journals, but most people who do so are.
There are also those of us who are called “independent scholars,” such as yours truly. But I work a lot with academics when I work in this field.
