Hezbollah
In my last article, I explained how most of Hezbollah’s arsenal is underground and so are most of its gun emplacements.
These Hezbollah artillery pieces mounted on trucks emerge from silos in deep tunnels, poke their heads out, fire away, and then go back in their holes. The door behind which they go is made of reinforced concrete, but it would be better to make it out of solid rock.
Hezbollah’s underground bases are vast, with passages deep enough to drive trucks into. There are also large factories down there where they make their missiles.
In addition, there are artillery pieces, mostly Katyushas, that are buried in the ground but not very deeply, typically in forests. Similarly they pop their heads out, shoot, and go back underground.
Ansar Allah
Ansar Allah has similar military posture as Hezbollah.
I think most of their missile factories are deep underground, maybe 300 feet down, but I can’t prove it. When you see photos of Ansar Allah officials inspecting the latest drones…
