How Often Does "Attempted Rape" And "Sexual Assault" Happen in Marriages and Long Term Relationships?

I had this girlfriend who loved me more than any woman ever had. We did have a physical fight once and I hit the crazy bitch. Not too hard mind you. Just enough to show her who's boss. She spent the whole night crying and whimpering in bed.
