This post is based on a conversation I had with Geary Johansen.

Me: I don’t care what you call it. Capitalism, communism, socialism, who cares?

To me the Chinese way is the new communism. This is how we will do it from now on. Communism like all words has no real definition. Words mean whatever people who use them say they mean. So we can change the definition of communism anytime we want.

The public sector is 45% of Chinese GDP. As an example, in Sweden the public sector is 7% of GDP. China is a communist country. Sweden is a social democratic country with a mixed economy.

In no capitalist country does the public sector make up 45% of the economy. That’s ridiculous. China is still a communist country. But conservatives and capitalist fanboys, including a lot of leftwing fools, insist it is a capitalist country. They’re wrong.
