Over on Threads, I complained about how harmless men are treated as if they are dangerous, and I do deal with this a lot in the dating scene. I think I’m pretty harmless.
I’ve never raped or committed any serious violence against a woman, and it’s awful late to start now. I was told that if you have to say you’re harmless, you “doth protest too much,” and this really means you are extremely dangerous. That doesn’t seem to make sense. I know what type of men are dangerous and possibly rape and definitely harm women, and I’m pretty sure they don’t go around telling everyone how harmless they are. In fact I’m certain they don’t. Quite the opposite in fact. They literally advertise how dangerous they are, and like to a Pied Piper, the woman fall right in line behind them. Women can’t figure any of this out.
