More unpublished research. Apparently I’m doing epidemiology here. Ok, fine, I’m doing epidemiology. So be it.
Final Hurricane Katrina Death Toll at 4,081.
From the abstract:
The final death toll for Hurricane Katrina was far more than the 1,723 reported. The theory of excess mortality allows us to postulate a total death toll of over 4,000, including delayed effects.
Abstract sums it up, no? This same theory of excess mortality allows us to postulate a death toll of 186,000 in the Palestinian Holocaust, 1.4 million in the Iraq War, and 1.1 million in the Afghanistan War. It gives us 1 million COVID deaths in the US (covering all excess mortality).
