American Fascism - Accurate or Misleading?

Yet another article, a proliferation of which we have seen lately, about the authoritarian crackdowns of free speech we are seeing in the West these days, mostly around people opposing the foreign policy of Western states involving Russia and now Israel.

People are being arrested and charged with terrorist offenses simply for expressing what ought to be completely protected speech online.

Is the term American fascism misleading? Yes, very misleading. It’s simply authoritarianism. What makes anyone so certain that all forms of authoritarianism are fascism? I got some news for you. No they’re not.

Authoritarianism is authoritarianism. Theoretically authoritarianism can encompass any otherwise political model, right, left, or centrist.

Say you take a centrist platform and weave some authoritarianism into it. Then you have Centrist Authoritarianism. We have already had Far Left forms of authoritarianism. We called that communism.
