How many novels are we talking about here? The poster says three. Let’s check.

  1. The Sun Also Rises

  2. A Farewell to Arms

  3. For Whom the Bell Tolls

  4. To Have and Have Not

  5. The Garden of Eden

  6. Across the River and into the Trees

  7. Islands in the Stream

  8. Torrents of Spring

I get eight full length novels. For sure The Sun Also Rises, A Farewell to Arms, and For Whom the Bell Tolls are regarded as masterpieces, and they are all full-length novels.

Across the River and into the Trees was panned when it first came out, but it has since been regarded as a great book on a par with those three.

Same with The Garden of Eden. It was also panned mostly for the posthumous edit job, but it's now regarded as one of the greats too.

And Islands in the Stream is also now regarded as on a part with the best.

So there are six great full-length novels.

Torrents in the Spring is no doubt a minor novel.
